In the face makeup category, the emergence of new strong contenders is noteworthy, overturning the saying 'old is gold.' About Tone, which has achieved seven consecutive awards for powder, has firmly established itself as a base powerhouse by quickly securing second places in both foundation and concealer categories launched in the second half of last year. Additionally, products that have gained word-of-mouth for their excellent quality are also notable. Shiseido and Tirtir are the main characters. Shiseido's foundation, famous for its 'hot spring light foundation,' gained immense popularity, leading to a sold-out situation and winning its first award this time. Tirtir, which has captured the global market with its color shades that cater to all skin tones, has also been recognized for its product quality in Korea, showcasing its strength by winning its first awards in both matte and glow cushion foundation categories. Notably, the liquid concealer category, where all top three spots are held by new faces, is also worth watching. Among them, Luna's Hyper Cover Tip Concealer, launched in the first half of last year, took first place, demonstrating the strength of a concealer powerhouse. Given the significant changes in this category, it will be interesting to see what results emerge in the final awards.
