The Lip Makeup category is one of the categories with a fast pace of new product launches, so the competition is fierce. The point to watch is that the rankings are actively changing compared to the first-half awards. In the Glossy Lipstick category, completely different products from the first-half winners won the awards. Kate's Lip Monster, which has received tremendous staying power and love not only in Japan but also in Korea, won the top spot, followed by the Yves Saint Laurent Water Shine Lipstick, which won the Rookie award and now ranks 2nd, and the Laka Bonding Glow Lipstick, which won the 2023 award, ranking 3rd this time. On the other hand, the performance of steady sellers stood out in the Matte/Velvet Tint category. Peripera Last Velvet Tint and Etude Fixing Tint, which you've probably tried at least once, won 1st and 3rd place, proving the reason for their steady popularity. As this is a category that offers consumers a variety of products to choose from, it will be interesting to see what kind of trends and products will create a new wave in 2025.
