The 2020 makeup trend was divided into two: either not wearing makeup at all or sticking it on without smudging! With foundation-free looks becoming a trend, the popularity of tone-up products that can replace it surged, and base makeup products that are 'dry on the outside but moist on the inside' gained popularity. In the cushion foundation category, Hera Black Cushion took the top spot with overwhelming reviews. This reflects consumer demand for matte bases. This year, especially, primers, powders, and fixers that enhance makeup adherence stood out, with Hera Airy Blur Priming Powder, which gained attention for its unique usage, winning its first award. In the concealer and powder categories, long-loved products from Innisfree, Wake Make, NARS, Makeup Forever, and Urban Decay took the top spots, proving once again their dominance in the category. In the BB cream category, Missha Perfect Blanc BB took the top spot immediately after its release, continuing the legacy of BB cream excellence.
