In the sun care sector, products boasting strong UV protection with SPF50+ were prominently featured. This result indicated that the UV protection index significantly influences consumers when choosing sun care products. As the category has become more segmented, products that previously missed out on awards, such as Holika Holika Makeup Sun Cream, The Face Shop Power Long Lasting Sun Cream, and Etude UV Double Cut Moist Tone-Up Sun Fluid, received their first awards, while Missha's All Around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel pushed aside the previously reigning Plant Nation Oxygen Water Light Sun Gel to claim the top spot in the sun gel category for the first half of 2020. It will be interesting to see if Plant Nation can reclaim the top position in the year-end awards.
